Pokédex for iOS





Pokédex for iOS is the counterpart to Pokédex 3D Pro released for Apple devices, iPod Touch, iPad and the iPhone. It contains data on all the Pokémon including moves, stats and showcases them in 3D, much like the 3DS game.
This app starts off with just the Unova Pokémon, but allows you to purchase the other Pokémon for 500 yen each. As such, all the search engines are updated with the other Pokémon, allowing for full interactivity to be discovered.

Pokémon Card Game: How To Play DS





Pokémon Card Game: How To Play DS is a small tutorial game which comes with the Starter Kit + set of cards in Japan. This set allows for gameplay of the Trading Card Game and teaches how to play the game.
This game allows you to pick one of three decks of cards, based upon the Beginning Set and shows you all the aspects of gameplay for the Pokémon TCG. In addition to teaching the aspects, you can play against up to six computer opponents and there is also a quiz to test your knowledge of the rules.
The game is also useful as it has a rule dictionary for reference when you do play the game and you have the ability of sending the tutorial to friends through use of DS Download Play.

Learn With Pokémon: Typing Adventure




Learn With Pokémon: Typing Adventure is the first of the spin-off games released within the fifth generation. This game is a Typing Action game due for release on the Nintendo DS in Japan in 2011.
In this game, you play the part of a trainer travelling through various routes and areas discovering Pokémon. As you find Pokémon, you need to type in their names, in the case of the Japanese version, the English transliterations of the Japanese names. As you type the names, you capture the Pokémon and get coins. The faster you do it, the higher you score.
This game comes packaged with the Nintendo Wireless Keyboard peripheral which can sync with the Nintendo DS, DSi and 3DS. However, the game can be played without this peripheral through a makeshift keyboard made on the bottom screen.
In the game, you have been enlisted by Elite Club Professor Quentin Werty and his assistant, Paige Down, to investigate the various areas and capture the Pokémon. Your task is to find and awaken the legendary Pokémon and capture them.
There are over 60 Courses which contain the 403 Pokémon available in the games. Each course has its own quirks and targets in order to complete them. Each level has three different requirements for medals such as achieveing certain point scores, capturing certain Pokémon and not making any typing mistakes. As such, this game can prove to be a challenge for the most expert typists.
There are many in-game unlockables for you to discover throughout the game so you can personalise your playthrough and gives you something to strive for.

Pokédex 3D Pro




Pokédex 3D Pro is a paid download for the Nintendo 3DS eShop. This download follows on from the free download of Pokédex 3D and features all of the Pokémon to exist.
While the game features all Pokémon, it contains data for Pokémon Black 2 & White 2, showcasing the Pokémon in 3D and providing moveset data for all. It also has Augmented Reality features. It also has a special Pokémon Challenge mode as well as an album for all your screenshots in the AR Viewer
Unlike the previous game, you will receive all the Pokémon immediately out of the box, without the need to use the system's SpotPass feature to obtain 3 each day. This includes all forms counting up to 727 different entries within the Pokédex. This does not include Genesect or Meloetta
The Pokémon Challenge aspect provides a variety of quizzes of varying difficulty to test Pokémon knowledge. These range from identifying Pokémon by appearance, by moves, by stats and even by their cry
While the game only has Bulbasaur to Keldeo within it when you begin, you have the ability to access Meloetta, and presumably Genesect at a later point, via a password added in Pokémon Challenge

Pokédex 3D





Pokédex 3D is a free download for the Nintendo eShop on the Nintendo 3DS. This game is more of a resource for players to utilise in order to aid in the training of Pokémon in Pokémon Black & White.
The Pokédex 3D provides details on the Pokémon including stats, abilities, level up moves and more. In addition to the standard details, you can view the Pokémon in 3D with the Nintendo 3DS's abilities. Pokémon are gained via a variety of methods in this game. You can obtain them via QR codes, downloaded via SpotPass or by receiving them through friends.
In addition to these standard features, the game also has Augmented Reality features allowing you to play with the Pokémon on your desk using the Nintendo 3DS's camera.
This game encourages transfer between friends by having various Pokémon, forms and genders unobtainable in a single savefile, requiring you to transfer to get them all.

Pokémon Rumble Blast / Super Pokémon Rumble





Pokémon Rumble Blast, also known as Super Pokémon Rumble in Europe, is a sequel to the 2009 WiiWare game, Pokémon Rumble. It's a fully-fledged 3DS game and features you controlling a toy Pokémon through a variety of stages, taking out the Pokémon you encounter as you go through.
This game introduces the Pokémon from Pokémon Black & White into the toy-Pokémon fold and will have you controlling and unlocking them. It has a single player mode, as well as a two player local multiplayer as well as Street Pass capabilities for obtaining Pokémon.
Pokémon Rumble Blast has numerous different Game Modes including the standard gameplay mode where yo go through levels, the Battle Royale mode and the brand new Charge Battle which has you control a massive army of toy Pokémon.
Unlike the first game, this one has a storyline. In it, you quickly find that all the Light Springs are drying up in all the towns in Toyland. As such, you have to investigate into the cause of this and soon find Cobalion is behind it. Your task is to stop Cobalion and his minions and return the Light Springs to the fountains in the towns.
Also unlike the previous game, there are more than six different stages here. There are five worlds, each with at least threes in which house two or more standard levels as well as a Battle Royale, Team Battle or Charge Battle. These all have different Pokémon in, allowing you to obtain all 646 Pokémon.
Mechanically, the game functions identical to the previous one, where you collect a toy through battling in the level, using one of two moves to damage the opponent. The toys are not able to increase their strength, but you can get stronger ones as you go through and increase the World Rank. Some of the Pokémon you find will have special abilities that can enhance their strengths and you can teach the Pokémon toys various new moves through vending machines allowing you to customise.

PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond





PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond is the sequel to the original Wii game PokéPark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure. This game follows the same mechanics as the previous game and has you play as Pikachu as you travel around, encountering Pokémon and partaking in attractions. This includes battling the Pokémon and various other features
Unlike the previous game, you don't play as just Pikachu, instead being capable of playing through the areas as Pikachu, Snivy, Tepig or Oshawott. In the game, there are two main areas with several subareas; The standard PokéPark where the Pokémon dwell, and a new world called Wish Park, which is seemingly made out of cookies and cakes and has an odd aura around it causing Pokémon to act strangely.
In the game, Pikachu and Piplup learn of the Wish Park, and visit there, only to find the Pokémon getting attacked and Piplup getting left behind. Pikachu then has to team up with Oshawott, Snivy and Tepig to try and bring calm to PokéPark and to stop the evil that is afflicting the Wish Park.
This game is less focused upon the attractions and focuses more on the exploration and befriending of Pokémon. When you befriend a Pokémon, you can now use them in battle against other Pokémon. it also has a special Battle Tournament which allows you to go through 10 rounds of battles, in realtime, to show your true strengths
There are also numerous items to collect, many of which you can trade with other Pokémon to obtain. This allows you to continue going to many areas so you can find every one of the 40 items in the game.
The attractions however, have been enhanced greatly and now include functionality for four-player multiplayer but tend to have you controlling either Pikachu, Snivy, Tepig and Oshawott. There are only four attractions in the game, varying in point grabbing games to races

Pokémon Conquest




Pokémon Conquest is a Nintendo DS game which is a crossover between the Pokémon franchise and the Nobunaga's Ambition series of games. These games were released in 2012
Not much is currently known about the game, but based on the previous series, this game features you controlling various Pokémon to take over parts of the region of Ransei. In the region, there are 17 castles each with military commanders all of whom are paired with specific Pokémon.
The gameplay has you control various Pokémon in a combat scenario, having to use them to attack the enemies and fulfill missions. This is done via an isometric view and is turn-based, requiring you to think about the placement of your Pokémon as you traverse the various areas. In each region, there are are a variety of areas to explore in which you can find new Pokémon and trainers to join your army in order to take the other nations.
This game takes approximately 20 hours to complete the main narrative, but has a "Final Scenario" mode which adds many new missions to the game which can increase the time spent tenfold.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity





Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity is the first Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game to be released on then Nintendo 3DS system. It is due for release in the Winter of 2012
This game is the first Mystery Dungeon game to feature Pokémon native to Unova and has the Pokémon in full 3D. As usual, it as you play as a character who turns into a Pokémon. Possible Pokémon can be Pikachu, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott or Axew and allows you to select the Pokémon you are yourself as well as select the partner. Your task is to investigate the issues you see in your dream, being sent to you by Munna, recruiting various Pokémon as you travel through the game
In the game, you start off in the hub village of Pokémon Paradise. This area is a town filled with Pokémon which you can build up using Pokémon you befriend to make various stores as you rank up from various missions.
It also has augmented reality features where gates to new dungeons open up as you point the 3DS camera at certain items including coins, clocks, food and more. There are hundreds of these dungeons, all with varied Pokémon and item placements
This game is also the first Pokémon game to include Downloadable Content, with 12 dungeons being made available after release. These dungeons all allow for easier access to rare Pokémon and items, which are normally hard to find within the game.
Another new feature is the special Companion mode. At any time during the game, when not inside an actual dungeon, you can switch the Companion Mode where you control one of your other Pokémon while you and your partner Pokémon are away. This allows you to collect more items by partaking in missions. In addition to this, an offshoot of the mode allows for 4 player local play where you and up to three friends can partake in special missions co-operatively, including facing off against rare Legendary Pokémon.

Pokémon Rumble U / Pokémon Scramble U





Pokémon Scramble U is the third game in the Pokémon Rumble spin-off series. This game, coming out as a download title for the Nintendo Wii U, continues the mechanics brought by the previous two, featuring you controlling Toy Pokémon as they travel through the land, battling other Toy Pokémon. Story-wise, you play as a few toy Pokémon who got lost from the toy store after falling in a river, and you have to make your way through the land, facing many Pokémon in many arenas
Like the previous iteration, Pokémon Scramble U contains all currently available Pokémon, bringing an addition of Keldeo, Meloetta and Genesect, allowing for a massive amount of collection.
As this game is on a home console, it has the functionality brought by having an increase in power and allows for up to 100 Pokémon to battle you at any one time. It also allows for you to play the game with up to three friends at the same time, to battle various enemies. The game also utilises the Wii U GamePad's Near-Field Communication sensor and allows for you to scan in various special figures to gain a bonus Pokémon toy in the game.

Pokémon Tretta Lab for Nintendo 3DS




Pokémon Tretta Lab for Nintendo 3DS is a utility to aid in the cataloguing of Pokémon from the arcade game, Pokémon Tretta. This small utility comes with a base unit to allow for the 3DS to stand, both for Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS XL, as well as a scanner attached to the top of the 3DS. Using this scanner, you can put up to two Tretta pucks in for scanning. The game is a digital title, downloaded through a QR code that comes with the scanner and tray, as well as coming with several pucks.
The game has three modes. First is the Tretta Analyzer. This mode shows you the Pokémon from the Tretta puck scanned in, its type and stats. Second is the Type Checker. This allows you to compare two Pokémon and see if the type combination matches up. Third mode is Auto Battle where you scan in two Tretta pucks and it will automatically show them battle.
The game comes with three unique Tretta Pucks, Rookie promos featuring Mewtwo, Lucario and Eevee. In addition to that, the first print run contains another special puck featuring Pichu.

Pokémon Dream Radar / AR Searcher




Pokémon Dream Radar is a new game for the 3DS eShop. This game is an Augmented Reality game to tie in with the main games:PokémonBlack 2 & White 2 and features you obtaining various Pokémon within an Augmented Reality environment.
You get guided through the game by Professor Burnet, a female professor who specialises in this capture system and is investigating the Interdream Zone.
These captures are done through various levels where you need to shoot clouds. Shoot a grey cloud and an energy orb will appear. Capture this orb and it may hold a Pokémon. Pink orbs offer Dream Orbs, a form of currency. After completion of the levels and collecting enough Dream Orbs, you gain access to the new Therian Formes of Tornadus, Thundurus & Landorus. All Pokémon and items can be sent to Pokémon Black 2 & White 2
This game also features compatibility with the Generation IV games: Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold & SoulSilver where it brings special Legendary Pokémon into the game if you have the Generation IV game in your 3DS.

Pokémon Black 2 & Pokémon White 2




 
Pokémon Black 2 & Pokémon White 2, otherwise known as Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2 are the second set of games of the long anticipated fifth generation of Pokémon. These games are due for release in Japan in June 2012 and are sequels to Pokémon Black & White, running on the Nintendo DS. These games feature Kyurem's alternate forms within them; Black Kyurem in Black 2 and White Kyurem in White 2.
Pokémon Black 2 & White 2 are set within the Unova region 2 years after the events of Pokémon Black and Pokémon White, and as such, a lot has changed in the region. The game begins in a previously inaccessible part of Unova to the southwest as you take control of a character who lives in Aspertia City, with their childhood rival. There are various other new areas in Unova, with their own new Gyms and Gym Leaders.
Unlike Pokémon Black & White, Black 2 & White 2 feature a Pokédex that contains Pokémon from various other regions of the game dotted around all the areas of Unova, with the dex having 300 Pokémon within it before the National Pokédex is obtained, making it the biggest regional Pokédex. It also has a variety of Version Exclusives for Pokémon, areas and a variety of other features
The games can be played on any model of DS and 3DS, however they contain a region lock on DSi and 3DS models
New Features
Pokémon Black 2 & White 2 carry the same mechanics of Pokémon Black & White but introduce a variety of new ones. First is the World Tournament which features many different tournaments featuring Gym Leaders and variousother powerful trainers. Next, there are the PokéStar Studios which has you create various movies by battling a variety of greenscreen characters and trainers including Brycen and Sabrina.
It also features the special Unova Link feature which allows for connectivity with Black & White as well as new difficulty modes and compatibilty with Pokémon Dream Radar.
The game also adds the Hidden Grottos which are dotted around Unova, providing a variety of items and Pokémon with their Hidden Abilities.
Changes from Black & White
As the games are set two years after Black & White, there are a variety of changes. Areas such as Driftveil City and Route 4 have received changes in asethetics while other areas like Cold Storage, Route 10 and Victory Road have been removed for various reasons. Various characters have also moved around and changed their appearance within it including Bianca, who is now Juniper's assistant, and Cheren who has become a Gym Leader.
Like before, there are 8 Gyms to face in your journey through Unova as you aim to reach the Pokémon League and the Elite Four. Some of these Gym Leaders are old ones, while others are brand new. The storyline features the return of Team Plasma, who have seperated into two factions with one planning on taking over the world after decreeing N as a traitor.
There are numerous other changes including changes in aesthetics, wild Pokémon, Legendary Pokémon and just general discussions with characters making it clear that these games are set much later than Black & White.
The games are also fully compatible with Pokémon Black & White, allowing for battles and trades instantly between all four games.

Pokémon Black & Pokémon White




Pokémon Black & Pokémon White are the first games of the long anticipated fifth generation of Pokémon. These games are due for release in Japan in September 18th 2010 and are said to bring about a revolution of Pokémon. .
These games are set to feature the previously established assortment of Pokémon, but will also contain a massive amount, 156 in fact, of brand New Pokémon. These Pokémon are the only ones you will encounter until the main game has been completed
In addition to that, Pokémon Black and Pokémon White take the 3D attributes previously included in Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold & SoulSilver and take them to new levels by including things like fully 3D bridges and a completely 3D city.
Pokémon Black & White are set in the region known as Unova. Unova is a region far away from the previous regions, requiring you to get there by Boat or Plane. It has a large city called Castelia City, with loads of buildings and sky scrapes for you to explore. Outside of the city and Unova remains to be predominantly industrialised with various factories and train tracks existing in the various areas. As the games are set in a region far away, the main game will not feature any old Pokémon until you have beaten the main story. The games also have you playing as protagonists older than the previous playable characters.
Pokémon Black & Pokémon White are to be compatible in with the games of the previous generation; Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold & SoulSilver through the aspect of the game known as the PokéTransfer so you can complete the Pokédex. In addition to this, there is a method called the Relocator which works only for a certain few event Pokémon. Through this, some event Pokémon can be traded over to these games to unlock new things such as the Monster Fox Pokémon, Zoroark.
Features
There are numerous featurres introduced within the game. First, in battle, there are two further methods of battle; Triple Battle & Rotation Battles. Both of which have you send out three Pokémon at once in order to battle with varying mechanics within it. In local wireless and over WiFi, there is also the Wonder Launcher which is a function that allows you to use items during battle, but at a cost. In battles, the camera is also dynamic, zooming in and out on the Pokémon while they move in a variety of animations
Much like how Gold & Silver introduced the concept of the Day/Night cycle, Pokémon Black & White introduce the concept of Seasons. These seasons change a variety of factors including Wild Pokémon, location aesthetics and even the background music. The seasons rotate at the start of every month so you don't need to wait long until the next one.
The games also introduce a variety of new multiplayer aspects including the Xtransceiver, a DSi & 3DS exclusive feature, that allows for video chat with you and your friends. In addition to that, the games can now connect to the Internet for access to a site called the Pokémon Global Link. The Global Link allows you access to Random Matches on the Internet, capable of being ranked based upon your performance, as well as a section called the Dream World which will allow you to obtain non-Unova Pokémon, some of which have new abilities, and items that also cannot be obtained in Unova such as Berries. In addition to this, the games also have the Entralink feature which has you visit a friend's game and complete certain missions in order to get various power ups which last a short time in the main game.
The game's story features you having to stop Team Plasma, a team who, unlike previous teams, want to do good and intend to stop what they perceive the slavery of Pokémon caused by trainers. In addition to this, you also have to travel the region in order to get 8 badges once more.
DSi Enhancments
As stated above, Pokémon Black & White are DSi Enhanced. As such, they will only work on DSis of the same region as the game. However, despite this, there are a variety of new features exclusive to the DSi. First is the Xtransceiver which does allow for voice and video chat between up to 4 friends locally and 1 friend over the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. In addition to this, Pokémon Black & White are capable of connecting to the Internet via the WPA encryption as opposed to previous games only being able to connect to WiFi through no encryption, or WEP.
The games can be played on any model of DS

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS & Super Smash Bros. for Wii U


Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U are the next iteration of the Super Smash Bros. games. As the game is now on two consoles, there is to be some interconnectivity involved between the two games.
Both games have their own unique style, with the 3DS one having a border around the characters to allow for them to be more easily seen, while the Wii U one focuses on completely high quality graphics.
Between the two games, the character roster will be the same across both games, but the stages will differ between each games. Super Smash Bros. for 3DS will have stages based upon the various games from Nintendo's handheld platforms while Super Smash Bros. for Wii U will have stages based upon various games on Nintendo's home consoles.

Pokémon Bank


Pokémon Bank is a piece of downloadable software that allows for you to store various Pokémon from your Pokémon X & Y games on the internet. It requires a yearly fee of 500¥ and has storage for up to 3,000 Pokémon. It also runs a trial for 30 days at any point until January 31st which is when it becomes a paid service.
Pokémon Bank simply allows you to store up to 3,000 Pokémon within 100 boxes on the Internet, away from the boxes you have in your game. With this, you also have the ability to transfer content between various Pokémon X & Y games. It also has protections that prevent cheated Pokémon from being able to be transferred to the Bank.
In addition to that, you have the ability to search through your boxes based on type, species and various other features.
Each download of Pokémon Bank comes with the special app called Poké Transporter which allows for the transfer of Pokémon from Generation V games to Generation VI

Gen VI-- X & Y



Pokémon X & Y
Pokémon X & Pokémon Y are the first Generation VI Pokémon games, coming for the Nintendo 3DS worldwide in October 2013
These games are the first to include a real 3D world and 3D battles, utilising 3D models in amazing battle environments. The world also is completely 3D, while keeping grid based movement.
It introduces a variety of new Pokémon including Chespin, Fennekin and Froakie, the new starter Pokémon and Pokémon X stars the legendary Pokémon Xerneas while Pokémon Y features the Pokémon Yveltal. The addition of the new Pokémon takes the number of Pokémon over to well above 700. It also is the first game since Gold & Silver to introduce a new type, the Fairy-type
In addition to new Pokémon and a new type, Pokémon X & Y introduce a whole new feature to Pokémon, Mega Evolutions. These give certain Pokémon a temporary evolution in battle to a stronger, never-seen-before, appearance with increased stats, changed abilities and sometimes even different types. You even get given a Kanto starter Pokémon in order to get their Mega Evolution.
The games are set within the Kalos region, a large region which has a Regional Pokédex split into three parts, Central, Coastal and Mountain. In the game, you start off as a trainer, being able to customise the appearance between three different options for each of the genders. There are a variety of new features involved including being able to ride certain Pokémon within certain areas.
The game also makes training a Pokémon's Effort Values easier through a mini-game system known as Super Training. With this, you have the ability to increase your pokémon's Effort Values through a scheme of mini-games and various other features.
This game also introduces the idea of Trainer Customisation, allowing you to not only pick your trainer's hair colour and skintone from three options, but to completely customise your trainer's outfit and accessories
Pokémon X & Y have compatibility with two bits of Nintendo 3DS download software. First, you can use Pokémon Bank to store up to 3,000 Pokémon on the cloud, and you can use the Poké Transporter to transfer Pokémon from Black, White, Black 2 & White 2.
Like previous new generations, Pokémon X & Y brings several new forms of battling. First are Sky Battles, which can only be participated in by Flying-type Pokémon, and Horde Encounters which are wild Pokémon encounters where you face off against up to 5 Pokémon at once.

Gotta Dance!!:Team Rocket decides to throw a party for Giovanni with Whismur dancing. Pikachu and co. come in and decide to help Meowth with this task, however they inadverently destroy the area. Can they fix it in time for the party?

Shiny Pokémon

Shiny Pokémon, an extremely rare sight in the games...however Ash & Co. have met a fair few and in this section, you will find a list of all the Shiny Pokémon that have appeared in the Animé, what they do and what episode they appeared in. While during their travels, Ash & Co. encountered many Pokémon of colours that deviate from the norm, this section only covers the Pokémon that match the colour of the Pokémon's alternate colour equivilant within the games. As such, Pokémon such as the Pink Butterfree are not listed
#082 Magneton
Magneton's shiny form appeared in the Johto League, Jackson from New Bark Town had one and used it in his battle against Ash. It was a formiddable foe for Ash as it took down Ash's Pikachu & Cyndaquil without even sweating. However Ash's Bulbasaur managed to take it out. #095 Onix
Onix's shiny form appeared when Ash & co. went to an island in East Unova. This island is filled with the legends of a rare Onix and was encountered when Ash requested Meloetta sing a song to try to subdue a swarm of rampaging Onix. However as soon as he did that, a trainer came along and offered to trade it for his Charmeleon. Gyarados's shiny form appeared in late Johto, however it wasn't officially a Shiny form. In it, Team Rocket were forcing evolutions of Magikarp into Gyarados but the Gyarados failed to change Colour during evolution. It got very angry and started a Rampage in the Lake of Rage and Mahogany time. Luckily Lance Captured it and stopped it. Ditto's shiny form appeared in Sinnoh. When the group were on the way to the Grand Festival, they soon discovered that something was impersonating their Pokémon. They quickly discovered that it was two Ditto, one of them shiny, under the control of Makina, a girl whom is dressing up as the Elite Four Member Flint. She owns both of the Ditto but fails to utilise strategy properly with them. The Shiny Ditto, nicknamed Number 2 was used in a battle against Ash's Infernape as well as Team Rocket. This Pokémon was seen in early Johto. It was being researched by a Pokémon Researcher. he tried to catch it but failed. Ash however managed to successfully battle it with Pikachu and caught it. It became a very important member of Ash's team and helped him win many Gym Battles & League Matches in the Johto League. #168 Ariados
The alternate coloured Ariados appeared in Route 201 near Sandgem Town. When Dawn visited Professor Rowan, his Piplup and Chimchar had escaped. While looking for them, Dawn encountered a swarm of Ariados. Managing to hold them back, she was soon rendered helpless against the alternate coloured Ariados hiding in the trees. Using Psychic, String Shot and Poison Sting, it managed to restrain Dawn and her Pokémon, but eventually fell to Dawn's newly evolved Quilava which managed to take out the entire swarm.

Swellow's shiny form appeared in the Fortree Gym in Hoenn. Winona, the Gym Leader, had one and used it in a battle against Ash. It knew Aerial Ace and was hard to stop.
